Shirley Jump
Half-day Craft Workshop Speaker
Shirley will be providing an in-depth workshop on brain mapping. This workshop will take your characterization to the next level!

We will be offering several levels of educational opportunities this year.
Beginning Author Track:
Are you a person who’s been dreaming of writing a romance book? This is your chance to learn how to write that book!
During the Moonlight and Magnolia’s conference, you’ll be attending craft classes on writing and editing with other new authors. From the time you reach the registration desk, you’ll receive the white glove treatment. Introduction and basic level classes will be offered for craft, development, editing, publishing, and business. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with a published author for a personal 30-minute Q&A session. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet so many amazing and successful romance authors throughout the conference.
Intermediate Author Track:
Many authors fall into this category, so there will be a huge selection of workshops and network opportunities for this track. We will be curating our workshop list based on feedback received from our general membership. Previous attendees asked for specific classes that will include, but are not limited to, more craft classes (story structure, Deep POV, ID list/trope/Universal Fantasy, and more), marketing (social media, advertising, and more), and business. Don’t forget about the amazing half day workshops on Thursday that will do an intensive look at deep characterization using brain mapping by Shirley Jump, and amazing marketing tips by 7-figure author Elana Johnson.
Advanced Author Track:
There will be several classes offered to members that have been publishing for many years and writing for even more. These classes will be more intense with less Q&A opportunities. Sit down and dig deep into the next level of your author career.
