Meet the 2026 Agents and Editors
Georgia Romance Writers has the reputation of bringing in some of the industry’s top agents and editors seeking a wide variety of submissions.
In-person:

Writer's House
Beth Miller
Beth Miller joined Writers House in 2007 and has since worked closely with senior agent Robin Rue. She has a diverse background, initially studying marine biology before transitioning to literature and publishing. She holds a master’s degree in literature and has authored several books under the name Beth Anne Miller, including titles like Into the Scottish Mist and A Star to Steer Her By.
Beth represents a wide range of genres, focusing primarily on:
Romance
Women's Fiction
New Adult
Young Adult
She is particularly interested in stories that captivate her and leave a lasting impression, often looking for works that resonate with her personal tastes, which include authors like Anne Bishop and Nora Roberts.

Creative Media Agency
Haley Casey
Haley Casey has always had a special place in her heart for stories, but it was when she wrote her first chapter book in fifth grade that her true love of literature was realized. In 2015, she graduated from The University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in creative writing, and that fall, she attended the Denver Publishing Institute. She began her full-time career at Ogden Publications, where she was an editor for four years. There she worked with a variety of authors across multiple magazines, wrote articles, edited podcasts, and even styled photos—anything to add some creativity to her days. In 2020, she interned at Metamorphosis Literary Agency and Creative Media Agency, Inc. before stepping into her role as an associate agent at CMA. She also manages the digital arm of the company. Haley is actively building her list, and is ready to assist her authors in achieving their publishing goals.

Harlequin Books
Allison Lyons
Allison Lyons is the Senior Editor for Harlequin Romantic Suspense. She’s been at Harlequin for more than twenty-five years and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of authors and lines that span the three editorial offices. Allison started reading books by Danielle Steele when she was too young to understand them. But that didn’t stop her. Each story gave her insight into what made two people fall in love. And it especially taught her that they wouldn’t let anything—or anyone—get in the way of that romance. Who knew it was planting the seed for a career editing those very types of stories! She’s currently looking for books that still promise that happily-ever-after, but also include lots of gritty, juicy suspense, especially those that fit the Harlequin Romantic Suspense promise. Reading is her favorite hobby—obviously!—but running has become a newfound passion. Staying healthy is something she does not take lightly, especially in this unpredictable world.

Harvey Klinger Literary Agency
Cate Hart
In 2013, I joined the Corvisiero Literary Agency as an intern and started taking clients in early 2014. I sold my first project in 2015 and have continued to help clients realize their publishing dreams. The past five years have taught me so much. In 2019, I decided to take another leap of faith and change. In 2019, I joined Harvey Klinger, Inc. where I will specialize in Historical, whether in Middle Grade or Young Adult, Women’s Fiction or Romance, and nonfiction. I’ll still be looking for stand-out Science Fiction and Fantasy as well as psychological thriller and classic-feeling mysteries. I am beyond excited to start this new chapter with this amazing agency.
My favorite part of being an agent is discovering a project that just sucks me in. Where I forget the time or that the kids need clean clothes and lunch. I love watching a client’s project take shape in development and finding a home with the perfect editor.
Via Zoom:

Jessica Errera
Jessica Errera has been with Jane Rotrosen Agency since 2014. She is a New York native and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jessica is looking for commercial women’s and book club fiction (especially speculative), all subgenres of romance, fresh and unexpected historical fiction or domestic thrillers, and anything that might be read in a day on the beach. She is not the best fit for climate or techno-thrillers, military fiction, or procedurals.

Erika Staiger
Erika Staiger re-joined Spencerhill as an assistant in 2024, following a semester-long internship in 2018. She holds an MFA in Fiction from the University of South Florida, where she also taught creative writing and worked as a writing tutor. After graduation, she worked in higher education at the University of Central Florida and as a trivia writer for Rez Events. At Spencerhill, Erika is primarily responsible for reading and responding to query submissions. Her greatest ambition in life is to turn her house into the library from Beauty and the Beast. While she reads a wide variety of genres, some of her favorites are fantasy, romance, and historical fiction centered on the lives of women. She lives in Orlando with her husband and their three pets, a cat, a chihuahua, and a geriatric rabbit.

Hoda Agharazi
Hello! I’m an editor at Entangled Publishing currently acquiring both YA and Adult novels. While I’m open to multiple genres, a high concept plot and a strong voice are essential. A strong romantic element is also appreciated (though not necessary for thrillers). For romantic storylines, I prefer a slow burn.
I’m particularly looking for fantasy (high fantasy & contemporary fantasy), paranormal, mystery, thrillers, and romcoms. I’m also open to contemporary but tend to be more selective – it would have to have a standout voice and a strong conflict.
In general, I’m a fan of:
Morally grey characters
Ensemble casts
Found family
Enemies-to-lovers
Dark academia
Settings as a character
I’m not currently looking for historical.
